The Concept

Your retreat experience includes a very special 3-hour cacao ceremony led by a local shaman and plenty of opportunity to try some amazing activities including a temezcal sweat lodge and the quintessential Costa Rican experience - ziplining through the jungle!

With accommodation options for all budgets, a beautiful on-site pool with loungers, juice bar and outdoor dining this is truly a place to go deeper into your practice, relax and unwind!

Our retreat centre is around 60 minutes from Liberia International
Airport and return group transfers are included in your package.
With all ground transportation, meals, yoga, and an incredible cacao ceremony included, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy La Pura Vida!
Your Teacher
Jenn Russell is an experienced 500 hour certified yoga teacher, teacher trainer and retreat leader with a true passion for her art. Her inspiring vinyasa flow classes take students on a creative journey through their practice, linking asanas with creative transitions and uplifting music, delivered with humor and a sense of playfulness. To compliment our morning dynamic practices, Jenn offers restorative, yin inspired sessions each evening, supported by the healing touch of Thai yoga massage and always set to a beautiful soundtrack.
Following the completion of two intensive yoga trainings, Jenn has spent the past ten years teaching extensively in India, Bali, Greece, Morocco, UK, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Croatia, Goa, Thailand, Ibiza, Mexico and Portugal leading her own sell out yoga retreats. In 2020 Jenn founded her online yoga school SoulTribe Academy and a yoga app SoulTribe TV to bring her teachings to hundreds of students during COVID. Throughout all of these offerings, Jenn encourages her students to have fun exploring their infinite capabilities … after all what your body is allowing you to do is truly amazing!

Sunday:
Arrive into Costa Rica!
Group transfers from Liberia International Airport are included
3.00pm: Check-in, relax and unwind
5.00pm: Opening circle and gentle stretch in the Jungle Shala
7.00pm: Welcome dinner and rest
Monday - Friday
8.00am: Guided meditation
8.30am: Tea and gratitude journalling
9.00am: 90 minute all-levels vinyasa flow practice
11.00am: Big healthy brunch
12.00pm: Free time to relax, unwind & explore. Planned optional activities include beach trip, temezcal sweta lodge & ziplining
4.30pm: 90 minute yin yoga & restorative yoga practice
7.00pm: Group dinner

I was so impressed with the different ways Jenn used flow & warm up (by different I mean compared to other classes I’ve attended). I’ve had multiple back injuries and I work as a physiotherapist, so I suppose I have slightly better body awareness and anatomical knowledge than your average man on the street. I really appreciated the structure of the classes, it's beneficial to anyone, including people who are recovering or have suffered injuries. Jenn's classes were so much fun and all of this just combined into a very happy relaxed feeling after the class

Cabanas
8 well placed and lovingly constructed cabinas made with reforested teak wood. Each cabina has been situated in a way that maximizes the experience of the Costa Rican breezes.
The cabinas have screened windows which further supports the experience of being fully immersed in nature while feeling comfortable.

Each cabina has two single beds, lighting, a ceiling fan, a safe for personal belongings, and an open-air closet for storage space.
