For the fifth year running, I am so very blessed to invite you once again to my spiritual home for a transformational week of yoga and culture. This time there are 2 weeks up for grabs - November 2019 and February 2020.

The retreat centre
Our retreat centre for is the beautiful Bamboo Yoga Retreat voted top yoga retreat for 2018 by the guardian and one of the top 10 yoga retreat in india 2017 by conde taste magazine. nestled at the quiet end of Patnem beach in south Goa. With three fully equipped yoga shalas right on the beach, Bamboo is a home from home to relax, stretch and enjoy the sunshine.
Tucked away in more than 3 acres of tropical gardens, the retreat centre features an outdoor restaurant and huge chill out lounge and restaurant serving yummy veggie cuisine, a choice of yoga spaces and treatment rooms for massages and therapies.
Located behind the ocean shala and seafront lounge, our eco friendly bamboo bungalows blend beautifully with the breathtaking natural surroundings. Whether watching the eagles soar overhead from the hammock on your balcony, or falling asleep to the sound of the waves, the normal stresses of life melt away as you connect deeper with nature.
Each bungalow beach hut at Bamboo Yoga Retreat Goa has one double or two single beds with comfortable European style mattresses, good linens and mosquito netting, set in a spacious airy room with plenty of room to hang your clothes and store your belongings. Constructed to make use of the natural ventilation from the cooling sea breeze, they also have ceiling fans for more tropical times of year. Attached bathrooms with western style toilets are open to the sky for the magical experience of showering under the stars.

The Beach Huts
The concept for our Goa retreat has always been to allow you guys the opportunity to explore the gifts that India has to offer, and that extends to the incredible food!
During this retreat you will enjoy an early pre-yoga breakfast of fruit, juice, and chai followed by a big yummy veggie brunch after morning class, plus afternoon tea and healthy snacks. The first evening meal will be served buffet style on the beach and is included in the retreat price.
For the remaining evenings we eat out at amazing places I love to visit here in my Goan home. We'll dine on the beach, at local thali cafes and intimate forest locations, at places with menus to suit a variety of tastes from Indian food to the freshest seafood. The cuisine in Goa is wonderfully varied and cheap and the benefit is you get to choose... my favourite place is just £1.60 for a huge veggie thali (yes, I'll be taking you there!!). Please budget an extra £5-10 a day for evening meals
Included in the price of your retreat is a sunrise boat trip to spot dolphins.

Jenn is a 500 hour advanced certified yoga teacher and Thai yoga massage therapist with a true passion for her art. Her inspiring vinyasa flow classes take students on a creative journey through their practice, expertly blending asanas with creative transitions, uplifting music, poetry and philosophy, delivered with humour and a sense of playfulness. Her gentle, restorative & yin evening classes combine relaxing postures with the healing touch of Thai yoga massage, set to a beautiful soundtrack. Jenn specialises in innovative yoga sequencing and also delivers arm balancing and inversion workshops for all levels.
Following the completion of two intensive yoga trainings, Jenn has taught extensively in Morocco, UK, Croatia, Goa, Thailand, Ibiza and Indonesia, leading students through vinyasa flow, power, restorative, ashtanga, meditation and partner yoga practices. She encourages students to have fun exploring their infinite capabilities … after all what your body is allowing you to do is truly amazing!

I was so impressed with the different ways Jenn used flow & warm up (by different I mean compared to other classes I’ve attended). I’ve had multiple back injuries and I work as a physiotherapist, so I suppose I have slightly better body awareness and anatomical knowledge than your average man on the street. I really appreciated the structure of the classes, it's beneficial to anyone, including people who are recovering or have suffered injuries. Jenn's classes were so much fun and all of this just combined into a very happy relaxed feeling after the class
